My garage door opener failed for a second time this year, and in a different way. This problem clearly was in the motor box and the cost and time of repair was unknown, and who knows how long until the next failure. So, I needed to replace it. I said that I wanted one with Internet access and he said the he could install either a 1/2 HP unit or a 3/4 HP unit. I selected the 3/4 HP unit. He said that the 3/4 HP unit did not have the external key pad, which was fine for me, as I did not want one. I was surprised when he said that he had it with him and it would be installed within an hour. I was surprised when he told me that it only came with one remote, and he provided a second remote (that I was charged for) that did not even look like the first remote that he said came with the opener. He showed me that the remotes and the wall control worked and then left. I then had to connect the door opener to the Internet and that is when I began to wonder what I purchased. The instruction manual was woefully inadequate, so I went to the manufacturer's web site. The model that I purchased, could not be found on the manufactures web site, and all similar models came with exterior keypad and 2 remotes that looked like the second one he gave me. Assuming that the opener installed was a new unit, it seems that it was one that may have been robbed of parts (external keypad and 2nd remote), and had been carried in the truck for quite awhile, waiting for someone like me to buy it.

I called Precision because my garage door opener died after 25 years of use. I scheduled an appointment in the morning and had a terrific technician, Bryan come out within a few hours to diagnose the problem and offer many solutions. I decided what I wanted and he immediately got to work. Less than 90 minutes later he was finished. He did a fantastic job and explained all the warranties for the product and properly instructed me on how to use and maintain everything. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door!

Garage door not opening and closing correctly. I called Precision and got a technician to schedule and come out the next morning. Rob did a great job, and explained the process needed to correct our issues. We needed a spring repair and also found our motor was bad, as it was very old. Purchased a new motor as well. All good now.

Installed in March. Problem with programming a remote which the tech resolved and really wasn’t an issue. The tech, Bryan Hewitson did the install and resolved this issue. Bryan went above and beyond the job of simply replacing a bottom door seal - he explained some simple steps I could take to help the door operate more smoothly (hint: don't paint surfaces of your door that will come in contact with each other - the paint tends to cause the surfaces to stick). He also pointed out that the pulleys needed some adjusting - after Bryan was done the door moved so smoothly I could lift it with one hand!

"JEFF DINEEN." arrived exactly on time and proceeded to repair not only the broken spring, but when asked if it was possible to upgrade the door (new rollers plus heavy duty cables, and both springs per my request) I was very impressed that he had all of the new equipment on his truck, and upon completion he thoroughly lubed all moving parts. And all of this on a Saturday and at a reasonable price. Therefore, I have to give Jeff 10 stars for his knowledge, professionalism, and pleasant personality. To say the least, my wife and I are extremely happy with the results. We would recommend your company to anyone in the future.

I have a double and a single door, both are so quiet it is amazing. I did not buy this house new, the garage doors are insulated as the previous owner put an air conditioner in the garage.
