My personal opinion was that Bryan came across as very aggressive about the work required. There was no wiggle room in his proposal. You need this, you need that, if you don’t do it you get no warranty for anything we do. I have a budget since I am on a fixed income. With inflation my disposable income is limited. I mentioned that to Bryan but his body language and facial expression told me he didn’t care. I got another quote with a lifetime warranty on the motor and chain with new springs for $500 less installed. You probably do excellent work but I got turned off by the sales pitch.

For less than an hours work I feel $283 was a high charge. Your method of charging is called stacking an individual charge for each service performed and not based on hourly charge plus a service charge.

My door was closing too hard and banging the concrete floor. The repair person adjusted opener and did something to the device that releases the door from the opener. This helped but door is still noisier than normal. The tech felt it was the best he could do. Your company rebuilt our door about 6 yrs. ago. They also replaced broken spring. The tech and trainee were doing the best they could with a 16 yr. old door. I paid &84.00 for this minor adjustment. I think that is a little high for the work performed. Both the techs were very polite and helpful. I will continue to use your co. in the future.

Started with simple noise package $149. Three days later I have a broken torque spring. Wait 4 days for tech to come back out and replace both torque springs and side cables and bushing $569. $700 plus and door is quiter. Sell house in couple months warranty does not transfer. Garage door was six years old.

The initial service call was good and the door was serviced. The door was not checked to determine if it was operational before leaving. The safety line was not pulled to catch the door when the button was pushed to close. The serviceman had to come back to make adjustments to have the door operable.

I had my doors two installed by this company. They are the only company that has serviced my doors. While the guys are great and nice and curtious always early or on time and I love the design of my doors I have have a few issues that are not solved and worry me. I have had them come out on numerous occasion but no one can remedy my issues. Its no fault of their own I guess just perplexing to me and frustrating. I really wanted to do 5 stars because they are a good company that stands by their product.

Neil was very professional & did a good job. I have two suggestions which might be helpful to you: 1- I suggest just fixing what is broken & substantially reduce the pressure -- including having to sign off on "your liability" etc -- to purchase a complete overhaul of the garage door 2- use a drop cloth; after Neil left we discovered numerous very small drops of dark black grease on the garage floor which we had already tracked into the house & subsequently had to spend some time trying to find & remove them all.

Customer service is top notch, but there is a gripe that is worth nothing. Your tech Corey is awesome; punctual, courteous, knows his stuff, and goes out of his way to help. My gripe is with management not taking an opportunity to rectify a situation that would have cost them little and gone a long way towards word of mouth advertisement. Precision can feel free to call me if they wish to know more. Work Order#: 2367380

Everything about my experience with your company was positive, everyone was very professional and I have only good things to say about it. I am so happy that your company was recommended to me by another very pleased customer.....

One of my laser eyes was (is) acting up and I could not get a consistent beam with my green light. I was not aware how simple the fix seemed to be until Tim stopped by on a service call and adjusted the camera and all seemed well. Unfortunately, soon after he left the green light went off, and unfortunately I can not seem to get it back on line consistently again. Tim was great, no problem with him. It did appear that the fix was made. However, within a day, I am back to where we started, with no consistent solid beam with the laser eyes. Costly appointment with no long term satisfaction.

We contacted Mr. Smith, the safety eyes were short circuited, we had a technician replace the existing safety eyes at no charge. We apologize for the inconvenience, but with shorted wires, they sometimes work and they sometimes don't. This fix should address all concerns.

First I would like to say that the technician was on time and courteous. He definitely knew his stuff. However, I was taken aback a little by your pricing. Being a rare purchase, I figured the pricing had to be in line with others, so I accepted his recommendation. Something just didn't sit right about the pricing, so I decided to call around for pricing. The first 2 companies I called said they could have done the job cheaper. Can you please help me understand why I was charged more?
- John Gratkolowski
Mr. Gratkolowski, Thanks so much for your input. It will only help us improve the business. Please allow me to enlighten you a little about garage door springs, and why one will cost more than another. Like automobile tires come in different qualities, with differing expected mileage ratings based on how the rubber was prepared, (Vulcanized or not) .... Garage door springs are also available in differing qualities with signifigantly different life cycle ratings, based on how the steel is prpared. At Precision we only use hot oil tempered, hardened steel springs with a minimum life cycle expectancy of 30,000+ cycles. Many other companies only buy and install cold rolled steel springs which typically have a life expectancy of 10,000 - 15,000 cycles. Obviously, there is an up front price difference in purchasing the better quality springs. This should have been explained by our technician on site during our call. For that I apologize. I hope this helps, and if you would like to discuss this any further, please feel free to call me directly at 321-777-4263. B.J.

We chose Precision out of the Yellow Pages because because you offer 24/7 appointments and a BBB Accreditted Busines. One of the springs on our garage door had broken (installed in 2008)so we had to replace the pair and your technician advised us to change the rollers. Neil was punctual, very informative and a true professional. We rate you a five.

I recently had a broken spring on my garage door. Since I have had your technicians out in the past and they did a really good job, I decided to call you again. The technician who came out fixed the spring, and also upgraded the other hardware on the door, offering a lifetime warranty on all the parts. It was expensive, but gives me piece of mind that I have quality parts installed and that you stand by the products you sell with this warranty.

Wanted a 2nd quote for replacement of my doors. Precision's quote was 50% higher than ABCO. I was told my motors must be replaced (they are 25 years old). ABCO felt otherwise. They have had far more issues with the newer models (represented only $1,300 of the $3,000 differential). They were quoting Clopay... from reviews these may even be a touch above DAB (which ABCO no longer specs for residential due to complaints about noisy operation). Your tech was friendly and knowledgeable. He has no control over your prices.
