This was the best experience I have ever had with a garage door company since I've owned my first home back in the '90s. I wish I had called earlier to fix my inconsistent, noisy garage door at my current home. I'm very happy with the upgrade I recently had done to my system. The technician Brent was very knowledgeable and courteous. I'm sure that another company would have suggested replacing the entire system and I'm glad Brent took the time to help me make a better, more cost-effective and realistic decision for my family. He went above and beyond.

#1 The Customer Servce People that I talked to were First Rate. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and most pleasant to talk to. #2 The Technician that worked on my garage door was a Consumate Professional: Experienced, unbelievably Knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. By the way, his name is Ty Cooke. He diagnosed the problem with the door, and explained what he needed to do do to fix it. #3 You could NOT find a better company anywhere to fix your garage door problem(s).

Precision had high recommendations on Angie's list which influenced our choice of contractors. We were very pleased with the installation process. The only negative was we were unable to have the hurricane garage door (model 9200) installed when they arrived as Barry noticed a crack in the garage mantel and brought it to our attention. He felt that it might be an issue with the weight of the new door. So, they took the new door back and weeks later when the repairs were done, came back out and installed the new one. I am very thankful to Barry for his observation however I believe the salesman, Clayton, should have picked up on this on the initial visit. Very glad we made the decision to hurricane protect our house especially since just having Matthew. The battery backup did not work as well as expected. Without power, we were only able to operate the door once before it started beeping. Apparently, the original battery was defective. Called on Sat. and Cory was sent out today and replaced the battery under warranty. Very knowledgeable technician. Would definitely recommend Precision.

We purchased from, and had Precision install a new hurricane-rated garage door. We contacted them based on neighborhood recommendations and Angie's list. Their performance exceeded our expectations. Their scheduling process was excellent, they arrived when they said they would. They even provided detailed info about their installation team which we appreciated and provided us a degree of trust that we may not have otherwise had. They hauled away the old door, carefully cleaned out the garage, and assured the new door was cleaned up as well. VERY WELL DONE,... 6-star performance!!!

I have used Precision for several years at 3 separate homes in Florida. This job was to replace my garage door opener, new rail and belt. I also had the tech, Ty, change the rollers and springs. He arrived early, he did call first, set about inspecting the issues, gave me a couple of options and did not pressure me into anything I did not want. We agreed on the work to be done and the price. Ty went about his business and completed the work as agreed, showed my what he had done, how the new opener works and cleaned up after himself. In all, 1 1/2 hours.

I originally called to have my garage door opener repaired and during the service call the motor blew up. The technician was able to stay and install a new opener immediately, which was very convenient and unexpected. Casey was the technician on this call and as with other people from Precision, he was courteous and professional. I always recommend this company to anyone looking for garage door services.

Excellent service. The torsion springs on my garage broke Saturday evening and I contacted Precision late morning on Sunday and they were out by mid afternoon to fix it. Rob S. was the tech and was very professional. He pointed out that I needed the cables replaced also and I went ahead and had several other items replaced. The garage door works great now and Rob was great at explaining everything. Super job!

I have been using Precision since 2006 when they installed a new garage door. They replaced the springs when they broke in 2013 and today they replaced my garage door opener. We recently had a spring break on our door and had a tech come out to repair the spring, being a woman I did not know that only the spring that was broken needed to be replaced, not both of them, but the installer did not tell me that or give me that option so without knowing I had them fix both springs, seemed very costly so after I spoke to my husband and showed him he replaced both springs I felt a little taken advantage so I wrote a bad review, within a short amount of time the operations manager Kevin called me to rectify the complaint and let me tell you, he went above and beyond to take care of the miscommunication. He personally came out the next day and gave our garage door a complete service and replaced parts that had failed inspection at no charge, spent 2 hours at our home to make us a satisfied customer. Now that's integrity! I am very pleased with the customer service of this company I do not mind paying a higher price for excellent customer service since great costumer service is pretty much dying out! Thank you Kevin for your time and care of your customer. That was awesome!

Kevin came out because when I closed my garage door, it would close to the ground and then reopen. It took several tries for it to stay closed each time. Kevin knew just what part I needed, replaced it, adjusted it and within minutes my door was working properly. Part not on the list below, but I did purchase a product. Kevin came out last year to diagnose and fix a different problem. He's so knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. Because of him, I will call to have the springs relaced next month. Service is exceptional and quick.
