My garage door opener was damaged by a lightning storm. I called Precision to schedule an estimate/repair. They sent someone out the very same day. I was impressed with the professionalism of the person that took my call and the professionalism of the technician, Clayton, who did the repair. Clayton was knowledgeable and friendly and, with his well-stocked truck, was able to replace the damaged parts immediately and at a reasonable cost. He also pointed out a problem with my door balance and suggested that I might want to address that in the future (no pressure, but I decided to have him do an overhaul while he was there). I would highly recommend Precision to others needing a similar service.

I never expected to spend over $600 to fix the broken springs but Neil explained thoroughly the advantages of taking care of the other parts that were not working properly. The LifeTime warranty on the parts that he replaced was definitely the factor that prompted me to spend all this money. Neil was very courteous and knowledgeable, he did a great job. I hope that I won't have to call you back anytime soon to repair anything but if I do, I expect your support. Thank you.

We were very happy with our service from Precision Garage Door. There was an accident with the door, we couldn't get the car out, it was raining and we were late to be somewhere. I called PGD and literally w/ in 25 minutes a technician (Ty) was at our house. He worked diligently until the repair was done. I've already saved them in my contact lost for any future problems I may have. Couldn't be happier.

I used Precision in a home owned previously and was very satisfied. When the spring broke in our current home, there was no question about who to call. Once again, prompt service was provided. The person who scheduled the service was professional and courteous. The technician arrived on time. Brent Williams was thorough, professional, and he provided an explanation of what was needed to be repaired and why. Brent is very knowledgeable, and he instills confidence. I have not had my garage door working for over a year now. I found the number for Precision in an ad. I called and the customer service just starting made me feel happy and safe. What I mean by safe is due to the fact that the last company that came out tried to sell me rollers for $80 a piece. That would of cost me over $800, just on rollers alone. I just wanted to get my springs replace, because one of the springs broke, figured I'd get them both fixed and be done with it in one shot. By time that company told me this and that needed to be fixed and replaced, they wanted almost $1300+ and since I didn't go with them, they charged me $80 for a service charge. INSANE.. But this time around, your technician Clayton came out and was very nice, easy to talk to, respectful, and professional. In the end, I ended up getting new springs, all new rollers, new bearings, and everything got lubed up and it's working better than it ever has is ALOT quieter and smoother sounding when going up and down. I had all that done for $445. You can't beat that kind of a difference. Also got a 5 year warranty and the other company only wanted to give me a 1 year and they wanted to charge me even more for that. Clayton was not only on time, but early, finished a lot faster than I thought, showed me everything and explained everything to me, and didn't act annoyed with me when I asked questions or just talked to him in general. A lot of people can be rude and not very friendly. That was not the case with him. Knock on wood, hope I never have problems with my garage door again, but if I do, I will go through Precision again and hopefully Clayton will be the technican. THanks :)

Outstanding experiece ! Moved in to Grand Isle in 2003, knew garage door was showing some wear. This morning my wife tried to close the door and it crashed shut. The spring had broken. I got home around 11:30 and called Precision, mostly based on the google reviews. Brooke said Ty would be at the house between 1PM and 3PM, probably closer to 1PM. At 1Pm exactly, Ty and his partner arrived fixed everything and left by 2:30 PM. Door works better than new, thanks to the new rollers and spring.

I was completely impressed by your technician Clayton Hall. He rebuilt our garage door in an hour and a half. He worked in not so great conditions, it was pushing 95/98 degrees on the sunny side of the house. All in all I would recommend him to anyone who needs door work done.

I called a few months back and told the technician that there was an electrical issue with our garage door. It was an intermittent issue with it not working all the time. He proceeded to "sell" us new rollers, spring, permanent sensor boxes, etc. We spent over $700 on these items. And a few days later the same problem starting occurring. I called Precision again to let them know that the garage door wasn't closing and they came out and diagnosed the problem (which was a staple in the wiring). I believe this should have been diagnosed the first go round, as I explained it was an electrical issue, not a roller/spring etc. issue. But what really upset me was the technician charged me $19.95 for the call!

I chose Precision as this company had an ad in the Hometown News. By mentioning this ad, I was given a 15% discount. So, that was a big help. My garage door needed servicing as it had been a while. Also, the door was responding to the opener sporadically and it seemed to be chosing the worst possible times not to close. The young man, Clayton, was very courteous and professional. My garage door is running beautifully now. While here, he recommended that certain parts be replaced in the near future. This door is old but in good condition. He explained that the springs and other parts need to be replaced. I would equate this to having a cavity filled before you need a root canal. So, this shall be my next project and I shall be calling Precision. Five stars from me.

It happened on a Sat. afternoon- broken spring!!! I joined Angie's List & that is how I ended up calling Precision Garage Door Service. I liked what I read. When I called Precision I was told a rep would be out between 5:00- 7:00pm THAT day. WHAT?? We received a courtesy call from Ty the technician saying he was on his way. Ty arrived at least 1/2 hour beore his scheduled window appointment time. He took the time to explain the 2 different options for what I needed and what I wanted. I chose the option- Cables, springs, rollers, belt drive door opener (so quiet) along with the safety inspection & service overhaul. This is what I wanted- NO PRESSURE!! Ty then went to work and it was HOT in that garage! While Ty was working I was asking him questions ( I'm the type of person who likes to know the why's & how's of a project going on. It helps me learn about different things. Ty was so patient and didn't get annoyed. I hope I wasn't too much of a pain. Ty is an excellent worker who knows the product. He certainly is an ASSET to the company. Ty even helped my elderly neighbor who called him over and reprogrammed her remotes when they didn't work (probably due to the storm that came thru). The e-mails received which included details of the inspection & warranties are helpful. Due to my panic I didn't use the Angie's List discount coupon or ask for a Senior discount. I would rate this company as 5 STARS! I would not hesitate to recommed them to anyone!
