The tech solved the problem of the door being out of balance. However, that was not the original issue of concern. The door was "catching or grabbing" on the down cycle and pulling hard on the lift. That is still the an issue. What should be done?

Bryan showed up as scheduled today and did a great job explaining what Precision could do to fix my garage door with a few options. Bryan had the new springs and garage door opener in the truck and the install subsequently went quicker than I expected. Also provided a remote, key pad, and programmed the console in my jeep. Great company! Had a garage door opener break at one of my rental houses in Rockledge and Bryan went out and gave me an estimate and then came back in a few days to install a new opener. He coordinated with me and the tenant so I did not have to go to the property, and got it all up and running again smoothly. Appointment made easily with one phone call. Technician Jeff Shaw called to advise when he will be arriving (early by the way) Listened to my concerns and got to work. This is my yearly "tune-up" service and again no complaints. Jeff was able to give me an estimate on my option for a "quieter" opening and closing door mechanism (1 2 car door 1 1 car door) by switching out the openers. That is something i hope to do in the future as Jeff did not push me to make that decision. I have never had a bad experience with this company i found them reliable and reasonably priced for their services and every technician i have dealt with in the last 8 years have all been professional and courteous Highly Recommend Precision Door Service

Just want your people to know that Bryan Hewiston has to be one of your best employees as far as we are concerned and give him a 100+ on his work replacing the gasket at the bottom of our garage door. It gave him a bit of concern at the beginning but he is a smart fellow and figured it out and did a great job and cleaned the outside area so well it looks like new. My maintenance issue involved the replacement of a broken spring on the door. I reported the broken spring the the early evening of 11/9/20. I received a call from Precision Garget Doors around 0900 11/10/20 and scheduled a service all for 3:00-5:00 afternoon. The service technician called on his way and arrived shortly after 3:00. He performed a thorough inspection of the door and opener. He replaced the broken spring with a different metal aneling process that he said was more reliable operation. During the repair process the technician performed a "balance" of the springs on the door to provide smooth operation of the door. The technician also inspected the cables on the door and found that both cables were worn to the point of requiring replacement (I could readily tell that they were in pretty bad shape). Operational check of the door opening after repair demonstrated the the door opened smoothly with no noticeable problems. The technician was well trained in his job, was very thorough in his inspection and repair, explained the findings and recommendations for correcting the problem. The parts needed to perform the repair were on hand. Great service - Great results. Highly recommend PDS. Total time for the service call was ~ 1 hour I give PDS a 5 star rating. Exceptional service.
