I have been contemplating a new garage door (hurricane rated) for a while. Finally decided to do it. I had done my research ahead of time so I had a ballpark idea of what the range would be financially. Precision Doors had excellent ratings so I started with them. I was not disappointed! Lonny Miller answered all of my questions and even surprised me with an estimate that was on the lower side of what I expected. I signed the contract immediately. Can't wait to see the finished project!

To me, the first impression counts the most. When I called Precision I spoke to a very nice lady who was very professional and was able to set up an appointment the very same morning. Every facet of the testing and repair of our garage-door opener by technician Bryan Hewitson was conducted with the utmost precision and safety precautions, while also explaining to me what each test revealed and ultimately where the problem lay--i.e., in the wiring from the motor assembly to the self-reversing beam-of-light units on each side of the track. Moreover, Mr. Hewitson was able to arrive two hours earlier than scheduled, which was a relief to our evening responsibilities as "senior citizens." Let me add that the reason I chose Precision Door Service over four other companies is because when I called Precision, a real person answered promptly and arranged our appointment. Every other company utilized a robot system that required the caller to remain on hold and then select a number from an overly complicated menu "spoken" by a robot.

The service and response time excellent. How when they came to fix the door the gentleman said several times that the motor will be the next thing to get fixed. The very next day the motor mysteriously didn’t work and needed to be replaced.

This is how a service company should operate. Rob called 20 mins b4 scheduled appointment to cfm he was on time. He was. Broken spring was the reason for calling Precision - used them 3 tmes b4. Door opener crapped out while he was testing - installed the broken spring (warranty) and a new opener. He cleaned up, said it was all part of the service. This is a great company to deal with that obviously takes pride in the service they deliver. Won't go anywhere else.
