I was very pleased to call the office this morning and within an hour, a Technician was here. Lonny Miller had done a Spring Conversion for me last year. Three years ago I had a new LiftMaster installed. It has been working great. I was having problems with the inside Wall Controller that opens and closes the Garage Door from inside the Garage. Lonny diagnosed it within 5 minutes and made the repair. It's working great now. I proudly recommend Precision to all my friends. They are a high quality company. Lonny the repair tech came to my home. My garage door is 30 years old and the springs finally broke. He gave me several options on what he can do, and after seeing what he pointed out to me I chose to do more than just change the springs. Did the rollers/changed the door wheels from the old metal ones (one was even rusted stuck) to new one/ and new bearings. Door works like it was new again and just a bit quieter as the wheels are new and not metal anymore. He did a great job.

Im not one to leave reviews but my experience with Precision Garage Doors Left a impression that warranted my review. I called Precision and set an appointment to have someone come out and give me a no cost estimate for a new garage door. I almost immediately got an email confirming my appt and the Name And Photograph of the Technician that would be coming out. But Precision took it a step further by providing me with the Biography of my Technician, some info I considered personal. His name is LONNIE. Lonnie then msged me that he was 20 minutes out which was well within the time frame I was given. Lonnie was dressed very professional, introduced himself. He didn’t waste any time working out an estimate. I could tell he was very knowledgeable of Precision’s business and products. He presented me with 2-3 different options never trying to push a more expensive setup. Lonnie even gave me a few tips on how to keep the door at least manually functional giving me time to go over his estimate with my wife. He thanked me for the opportunity to come out and looked forward to doing business with me should I decide to go with Precision Door. Lonnie is definitely a terrific asset to Precision.

I usually research when choosing a contractor. And when I didn't, and used Homeadvisor to have a big screen TV mounted, two people were sent when I only asked for one. I was billed for both and somehow Homeadvisor convinced my credit card company to deny my dispute. Only one tech stayed and did the work. Back to highly-rated Precision. Lonnie arrived promptly, checked my door out and gave me options. I.E., there are some upgrades that could have been done, but my primary concern was the opener had to work hard to open the door. The end result was he replaced the torsion springs with stronger models, balanced the door so my opener would not have to work so hard, and lubricated bearings on the rollers and all of the hinges. I am very happy with his work and the springs used! Anyone wanting quality service for a fair price should consider Precision. Since they are one of the biggest, their prices may be higher than some alternatives. However, their work is exceptional and the springs are guaranteed for 3 years. Also, Lonnie said to check the door after 6 months. In manual mode, if it is lifted and does not remain at half open, he said to call and Precision will send someone to adjust it.

The initial service call was good and the door was serviced. The door was not checked to determine if it was operational before leaving. The safety line was not pulled to catch the door when the button was pushed to close. The serviceman had to come back to make adjustments to have the door operable.
