Broken spring. Replaced two springs, lift drums, 10 nylon rollers, cables, adjusted. balanced and lubed all parts. Lifetime guaranteed. Double garage door become broken. Suspected broken spring(s). Called Precision at 11:00 AM and was informed a service technician would come between 5-7 PM. Received a call from technician, Rob, that we would be at house in 25 minutes. Rob promptly arrived at 5 PM. Springs were defective. Rob explained different options to repair door. I accepted option of replacing springs and all moving parts, rollers, lift drums and cables. Received lifetime warranty on parts replaced. Rob is very professional and explained all to me as well as care suggestions.

They arrived ahead of schedule due to a cancellation, having called ahead to make sure it was okay that they were early- and I could tell the young guy was professional and hardworking and straight up, in addition to the very positive reviews on AL. So I went ahead and upgraded to replace they key parts of my garage door with items that would never corrode, which is important when you're 0.5 km from the ocean. It was a little pricey but needed to happen. I'll probably go with Precision when I want to replace the drive mechanism and/or do some other repairs.

Examined Marantec system with broken chain. Offered repair. Offered alternative replacement system without being pushy. Decided to go with replacement so he installed a New Liftmaster Chain Drive system. Jeff was outstanding. He was going along with my initial band-aid approach of a repair. After I changed my mind and opted for a new system, he switched gears and had the whole system replaced quickly and professionally. I was very impressed with his professionalism, his personable nature and efficient work. I will definitely use Precision again for future needs.
