My beautiful 12 year old Clopay 2 Car Garage Door had been damaged. I tried to fix it myself and soon realized the damage was "over my head"! I check the internet then cross checked with the Better Business Bureau and Angies List. Precision came out on top. They arrived early (great) and quoted a high cost to repair (not great). When the tech explained the details of the repair and pointed out a lot of damage I had not even noticed plus Precisions warranty, I knew I would have 12+ more years of worry free service if I allowed the best door to be repaired by the best techs. My garage door opener was damaged by a lightning storm. I called Precision to schedule an estimate/repair. They sent someone out the very same day. I was impressed with the professionalism of the person that took my call and the professionalism of the technician, Clayton, who did the repair. Clayton was knowledgeable and friendly and, with his well-stocked truck, was able to replace the damaged parts immediately and at a reasonable cost. He also pointed out a problem with my door balance and suggested that I might want to address that in the future (no pressure, but I decided to have him do an overhaul while he was there). I would highly recommend Precision to others needing a similar service.

I have not had my garage door working for over a year now. I found the number for Precision in an ad. I called and the customer service just starting made me feel happy and safe. What I mean by safe is due to the fact that the last company that came out tried to sell me rollers for $80 a piece. That would of cost me over $800, just on rollers alone. I just wanted to get my springs replace, because one of the springs broke, figured I'd get them both fixed and be done with it in one shot. By time that company told me this and that needed to be fixed and replaced, they wanted almost $1300+ and since I didn't go with them, they charged me $80 for a service charge. INSANE.. But this time around, your technician Clayton came out and was very nice, easy to talk to, respectful, and professional. In the end, I ended up getting new springs, all new rollers, new bearings, and everything got lubed up and it's working better than it ever has is ALOT quieter and smoother sounding when going up and down. I had all that done for $445. You can't beat that kind of a difference. Also got a 5 year warranty and the other company only wanted to give me a 1 year and they wanted to charge me even more for that. Clayton was not only on time, but early, finished a lot faster than I thought, showed me everything and explained everything to me, and didn't act annoyed with me when I asked questions or just talked to him in general. A lot of people can be rude and not very friendly. That was not the case with him. Knock on wood, hope I never have problems with my garage door again, but if I do, I will go through Precision again and hopefully Clayton will be the technican. THanks :)

I chose Precision as this company had an ad in the Hometown News. By mentioning this ad, I was given a 15% discount. So, that was a big help. My garage door needed servicing as it had been a while. Also, the door was responding to the opener sporadically and it seemed to be chosing the worst possible times not to close. The young man, Clayton, was very courteous and professional. My garage door is running beautifully now. While here, he recommended that certain parts be replaced in the near future. This door is old but in good condition. He explained that the springs and other parts need to be replaced. I would equate this to having a cavity filled before you need a root canal. So, this shall be my next project and I shall be calling Precision. Five stars from me.

Brent did a great job with superb quality! He was on time (in fact he was able to come early), thorough, completed ahead of his estimate, and delivered a quality result. He provided several options, recommended preventative maintenance to avoid costly repairs in the future, and provided several price points to choose from. Brent said he likes to treat the job as if he was "working on his own house." That approach definitely showed. I will definitely keep Precision Door and Brent in mind for future work. One suggestion is to have the operators tell customers how much a service call costs when they are scheduling service. I did not have an issue with the price whatsoever. The price was fair and reasonable. I just didn't know if it would be $25 or $100 for a service call. Thanks!

Jake came out to replace our springs the same day that I called in with the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable about the springs, their replacements and all matters surrounding them. He identified another issue (frayed cable) and offered to replace it at the same time and saving us another service call. We were very pleased as Jake worked quickly and was also able to hold a conversation about what he was doing. We knew Precision was the place to go and this call reinforced that and we will continue as customers. Thanks again Jake!

We had a service appointment for 8 AM this morning. We received an e-mail confirmation of this time, actually between 8 and 10 today, which included photos of the technicians. I so appreciate this concern for the customer’s security and safety. Rob called this morning – a few minutes before 8 to notify us he had been delayed at the warehouse and his GPS showed he would probably get here about 8:30. He wanted to warn me he would be “late” when he was well within the parameters of our scheduled appointment. When he arrived, actually a few minutes before his estimated travel time, he was professional, proficient, and polite. He quickly assessed the problems with our garage door, thoroughly explained all repair costs, offered clear explanations of our options, and to our great surprise, had all the equipment he needed to fix our problem. We had feared we would have an assessment/estimation visit and then have to schedule another time for the installation. After a quick call to your office to make sure that he wasn’t slotted for another job until after 11 AM, he got to work. It was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. He was efficient in removing the defective parts, successful in replacing them, and such a pleasant person to have working here. He schooled us in the use of our new equipment and confirmed any information we might need for future care, including the e-mails we could expect, such as the invoice and warranty. Because of the skill of his craftsmanship and the quality of his professionalism, if ever we do need additional service we will be sure to request Rob Stephenson. He is an asset to your company.
