So far, I've just had an estimate to replace my garage door with a hurricane-rated one. The technician showed up on time and was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. He was able to suggest approaches to deal with some unique aspects of my garage (e.g., a water pipe running above the opening, exactly where some of the hardware needs to go). He also provided several options (insulated/non-insulated; new or existing opener) and provided costs for each option. He was courteous and very professional in demeanor.

my garage door was stuck in a half way down closure as the cable wrapped around the bar as it hit my ladder, went back up.Then I went to close it the door went off track and bent the leader bar, A roller came off. called Precision and Bryan came within 2 hours lowered the door, put new cables on,sprayed all joints, checked the motor,etc. I was very pleased with his work. Great service. The technician came out to assess the issue at 8 AM on time. He completed the repairs in two to three hours. He inspected the door and installed new bottom seals as I requested. Everyone was helpful and nice from the first call for service through installation. I will use Precision again and recommend for anyone.

To me, the first impression counts the most. When I called Precision I spoke to a very nice lady who was very professional and was able to set up an appointment the very same morning. Every facet of the testing and repair of our garage-door opener by technician Bryan Hewitson was conducted with the utmost precision and safety precautions, while also explaining to me what each test revealed and ultimately where the problem lay--i.e., in the wiring from the motor assembly to the self-reversing beam-of-light units on each side of the track. Moreover, Mr. Hewitson was able to arrive two hours earlier than scheduled, which was a relief to our evening responsibilities as "senior citizens." Let me add that the reason I chose Precision Door Service over four other companies is because when I called Precision, a real person answered promptly and arranged our appointment. Every other company utilized a robot system that required the caller to remain on hold and then select a number from an overly complicated menu "spoken" by a robot.
