Every facet of the testing and repair of our garage-door opener by technician Bryan Hewitson was conducted with the utmost precision and safety precautions, while also explaining to me what each test revealed and ultimately where the problem lay--i.e., in the wiring from the motor assembly to the self-reversing beam-of-light units on each side of the track. Moreover, Mr. Hewitson was able to arrive two hours earlier than scheduled, which was a relief to our evening responsibilities as "senior citizens." Let me add that the reason I chose Precision Door Service over four other companies is because when I called Precision, a real person answered promptly and arranged our appointment. Every other company utilized a robot system that required the caller to remain on hold and then select a number from an overly complicated menu "spoken" by a robot.

Start out by saying I rarely right reviews but I was so impressed with this company. I called last week to set up an appointment after another company said they were unable to fix my garage door. My appointment was for 8:00, Jason called 20 minutes to 8:00 to let me know he was on the way. He arrived promptly at 8:00. He was very professional he looked at the garage door and was able to identify the problem quickly and gave me a very fair estimate. He had all the parts on his truck and was able to fix it the same day. Very satisfied!

Great repair, quick service! Byron explained the options to fix my really old garage door so clearly. I'm almost 86 yrs. and that was his first challenge. Started with simple noise package $149. Three days later I have a broken torque spring. Wait 4 days for tech to come back out and replace both torque springs and side cables and bushing $569. $700 plus and door is quiter. Sell house in couple months warranty does not transfer. Garage door was six years old.
