We used Precision about 6 months ago and liked the way the service technicians were so courteous and called ahead in a very timely fashion. This time we had Darian and he was wonderful, friendly and so courteous. I would recommend Precision Door Service and Darian to anyone who would ask.

Precision's tech was right on time very friendly and knew his product well. The only reason for not giving a five star rating is because the cost of the repair was quite high. Parts totaled (if I buy them and they are comparable to the ones Precision used) would come to a total of $180. This would be two springs, ten nylon rollers, and the cable and drum assembly.) My total cost for Precision came to $664.00. That means that the labor came to more than $464.00 and the technician was in and out in less than two hours. If my numbers are incorrect please let me know. Unfortunately, I did not have time for a second pricing however did talk to a local company afterward and they would have done the same job for under $400.00.

David did awesome job very professional- I just wish there was a Senior Citizen special. $664.00 is a lot of money for garage door opener. This is the time in 12 years had to have the springs on the door replace. I will have Precision check my garage door every year to ensure I Don’t have to pay out more.

My garage door was installed by Precision in 2008, and a few days ago the drive belt needed to be replaced. The technician (Darian) arrived today, agreed that the belt needed to be replaced, but also stated that due to age, the door needed additional maintenance (cables, cable drum, spring replacement), all of which had to be done or he couldn't install the drive belt. Darian said it was a safety issue and called the office to verify that he couldn't do anything unless I agreed to the whole $650+ maintenance. I decided not to have anything done and paid for the service call. I want to stress that Darian was professional and courteous the entire time. And I don't doubt that the recommended maintenance was factual. However, I was extremely offput by a company policy which denied me the decision as to what maintenance I wanted done today, and what maintenance I might want deferred until a later time. Telling me it's a "safety issue" feels like a scare tactic to get as much money from me as possible. I would not use your company again, nor would I recommend it to others.
