I had used Precision back in November-2018, when I first moved into my condo unit, to reprogram my garage remote and install a new key lock. I recently contacted Precision again to check my keypad which was not working. The tech Travis T. who came was professional and quick to solve the problem. I rarely do reviews because I’m very particular and usually disappointed with the poor or mediocre work of others, therefore I have to acknowledge Jason Emanis for the exceptional service he provided. Jason is a professional, knowledgeable technician who politely explained what needed to be done and answered all my questions. He put me at ease before he started and then proceeded to do a great job replacing the broken spring/s. Started with simple noise package $149. Three days later I have a broken torque spring. Wait 4 days for tech to come back out and replace both torque springs and side cables and bushing $569. $700 plus and door is quiter. Sell house in couple months warranty does not transfer. Garage door was six years old.

I usually research when choosing a contractor. And when I didn't, and used Homeadvisor to have a big screen TV mounted, two people were sent when I only asked for one. I was billed for both and somehow Homeadvisor convinced my credit card company to deny my dispute. Only one tech stayed and did the work. Back to highly-rated Precision. Lonnie arrived promptly, checked my door out and gave me options. I.E., there are some upgrades that could have been done, but my primary concern was the opener had to work hard to open the door. The end result was he replaced the torsion springs with stronger models, balanced the door so my opener would not have to work so hard, and lubricated bearings on the rollers and all of the hinges. I am very happy with his work and the springs used! Anyone wanting quality service for a fair price should consider Precision. Since they are one of the biggest, their prices may be higher than some alternatives. However, their work is exceptional and the springs are guaranteed for 3 years. Also, Lonnie said to check the door after 6 months. In manual mode, if it is lifted and does not remain at half open, he said to call and Precision will send someone to adjust it.

He was able to fix the J arm attachment plate to the garage door as well as identify and address a couple of other problems. Response was same day and very timely and the cost was reasonable. Brendan is awesome! He was able to diagnose and repair our garage door noise without having to replace the entire door. He successfully installed an outdoor keypad and replaced the interior opener panel so we can connect our new wifi modem. Very satisfied with the service and products.

Great company! Had a garage door opener break at one of my rental houses in Rockledge and Bryan went out and gave me an estimate and then came back in a few days to install a new opener. He coordinated with me and the tenant so I did not have to go to the property, and got it all up and running again smoothly. Great company with great service! I initially could not get my garage door open after one of the cables broke. Called Precision in the morning and they gave me a scheduled time frame when the tech would arrive same day. Tech called me about 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way and had the door fixed in about 30 minutes. Professional and very knowledgeable. Will definitely use these guys again.
