Jake came out to replace our springs the same day that I called in with the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable about the springs, their replacements and all matters surrounding them. He identified another issue (frayed cable) and offered to replace it at the same time and saving us another service call. We were very pleased as Jake worked quickly and was also able to hold a conversation about what he was doing. We knew Precision was the place to go and this call reinforced that and we will continue as customers. Thanks again Jake!

We had a service appointment for 8 AM this morning. We received an e-mail confirmation of this time, actually between 8 and 10 today, which included photos of the technicians. I so appreciate this concern for the customer’s security and safety. Rob called this morning – a few minutes before 8 to notify us he had been delayed at the warehouse and his GPS showed he would probably get here about 8:30. He wanted to warn me he would be “late” when he was well within the parameters of our scheduled appointment. When he arrived, actually a few minutes before his estimated travel time, he was professional, proficient, and polite. He quickly assessed the problems with our garage door, thoroughly explained all repair costs, offered clear explanations of our options, and to our great surprise, had all the equipment he needed to fix our problem. We had feared we would have an assessment/estimation visit and then have to schedule another time for the installation. After a quick call to your office to make sure that he wasn’t slotted for another job until after 11 AM, he got to work. It was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. He was efficient in removing the defective parts, successful in replacing them, and such a pleasant person to have working here. He schooled us in the use of our new equipment and confirmed any information we might need for future care, including the e-mails we could expect, such as the invoice and warranty. Because of the skill of his craftsmanship and the quality of his professionalism, if ever we do need additional service we will be sure to request Rob Stephenson. He is an asset to your company.

Purchased an Angie's List deal to tune up my garage door and the job couldn't have gone more perfectly! The technician, Jake, was incredibly prompt, courteous and very professional. The tune-up and silencing package was performed as advertised and the results are great. From making the appointment to the final handshake was a pleasant experience. "You get what you pay for". So true. A couple years ago, I purchased online a cheapo garage door opener made by a formerly dependable manufacturer. Last night, at the worst possible time, it went kaput. No notice, no nothing. Of course it was after hours, so I was facing having to either take a day off work, or leave my home unsecured until I could get it fixed. I googled 'garage door Cocoa' and found Precision. They were able to come out THE SAME NIGHT (and not for some exorbitant 'emergency fee' either) to troubleshoot my opener and get me squared away. Kevin arrived ON TIME, was neatly dressed and extremely knowledgeable about openers. He quickly inspected not just the opener, but the door, as well, and found that my 'great buy' had a plastic gear in it which had shredded itself. Of course, that part is no longer available, as the now Chinese manufacturer had discontinued the model. Luckily, he was able to give me a quote on a top quality replacement that he could install that same night! Surprisingly, there wasn't a huge difference in cost (at least not what I expected) for the LiftMaster. Once I approved the estimate, Kevin got to work removing my old piece of junk and installing the new LiftMaster. He was finished installing and programming within just a couple hours. He gave me a full overview of how the keypad was programmed and set up the remotes. A very pleasant young man. I would gladly do business again with Precision. They saved the day.

Pro's: Clayton was very polite. Called first and arrived early. Appeared to do a professional job in a timely manner. Available immediately (on Saturday) which was helpful. Lifetime warranty on the door, which is nice. Cons: Cost was more than we expected. It was not mentioned up-front when a quote was initially given that the garage door opener is a separate charge if he worked on it. It had to be "tweaked" which cost us an additional $43 on top of the original quote. So that was disappointing.
