Met with Shane today and ordered a hurricane door upgrade. My current door is over 33 years old and in bad need of a face lift. I have been restoring this house for the last 3 years. New septic system, hurricane windows and doors, added solar, and been lied to on several occasions. One window after all this time is still not correct, not even in code. So, I’ve been through the mill financially. $61,000.00 to date and more than I paid for the house new in 1990. Back to Shane: He was very thorough and walked me through a good presentation on doors, informed my on present Florida codes on different door types which I found interesting and what to expect when the old door is replaced. Scheduled the appointment in late evening and got next day service. Very low service call fee which was the selling point for me and was credited on the final bill. Precision installed our door openers in 2016. Fast forward to 2023, the backup battery is completely drained. We contacted Precision and was able to get a service appointment very quickly. Before the service, we received an email with the picture of the technician who would be coming to our home. I definitely felt more secure with that! The technician replaced the battery and performed a multi point inspection on the door. A problem with the spring was diagnosed (a typical age problem) and the technician fixed the spring. The fees were reasonable for the work performed and they had the backup battery that we needed for our unit.

I give Precision a full 5-star rating. This is the first time I required repair on my garage door, and after reviewing service companies in my area, I chose Precision because of the many high ratings from their satisfied customers. What a breath of fresh air to find a company and technician who take pride in their service and do it in such a professional manner. The office staff was excellent to get the repair scheduled for the very next day. The technician, James, was excellent. He communicated when he was on his way to my address, quickly accessed what needed to be done to repair, provided the cost for parts, (springs and bearings), and everything was up and running in under an hour. I highly recommend Precision and James to anyone requiring a repair to their garage door.
