Neil is 45 years old, originally from New York. He has 2 great kids. Neil has always worked in the home improvement field. He is a great mechanic and spends a lot of his free time working on a variety of cars he owns; that is when he is not riding his four wheeler or his motorcycle. What he loves most about his job is being able to take an unsafe, troubled garage door and turn it into a smooth running, reliable door for his customers. I am a senior citizen and Neal treated me with respect and kindness. He cleaned up everything before he left. Star Rating: 5 / Neal Trepanier performed an excellent service on the operation of a heavy single (2 car door) reinforced for hurricanes. The chain had become loose and the door would disengage when the carrier hit the motor....this caused a very dangerous situation due to the fact the door would disengage and slam down. Neil listened to my concerns and thoroughly checked out the operation of the door correcting all issues. He also installed an outside remote synched to the door opener which really comes in handy. Overall Neal is an excellent technician that I would recommend in the future. Thank you, Jack Macey

I never expected to spend over $600 to fix the broken springs but Neil explained thoroughly the advantages of taking care of the other parts that were not working properly. The LifeTime warranty on the parts that he replaced was definitely the factor that prompted me to spend all this money. Neil was very courteous and knowledgeable, he did a great job. I called a few months back and told the technician that there was an electrical issue with our garage door. It was an intermittent issue with it not working all the time. He proceeded to "sell" us new rollers, spring, permanent sensor boxes, etc. We spent over $700 on these items. And a few days later the same problem starting occurring. I called Precision again to let them know that the garage door wasn't closing and they came out and diagnosed the problem (which was a staple in the wiring). I believe this should have been diagnosed the first go round, as I explained it was an electrical issue, not a roller/spring etc. issue. But what really upset me was the technician charged me $19.95 for the call!

Neil was very professional & did a good job. I have two suggestions which might be helpful to you: 1- I suggest just fixing what is broken & substantially reduce the pressure -- including having to sign off on "your liability" etc -- to purchase a complete overhaul of the garage door 2- use a drop cloth; after Neil left we discovered numerous very small drops of dark black grease on the garage floor which we had already tracked into the house & subsequently had to spend some time trying to find & remove them all.

My garage door opener stopped working one day after a lightning storm because it fried the main circuit board. Ordered an opener and thought I should have a professional look at the doors condition before installing a new opener on an old door. So I looked in the "Savings in St. Lucie" magazine and called for an appointment they sent a technician the next day. Neal the technician informed me of all that was wrong with my door. Also went over all my options to bring it back to a like new condition that would give it up to ten years of worry free operation. His professional way of explaining helped me make an informed decision on spending the additional money now on overhauling the doors working components would save on multiple service calls in the future and possibly damaging the new opener I just bought. The opener he installed was a Liftmaster 8500 which is not your normal chain drive overhead opener. It mounts on the side of the doors spring shaft and connects onto it. Neal took his time to installed all new supporting equipment that this opener is kitted with so that all safety measures are in place. My scrutinizing nature isn't easily impressed because I've been a helicopter mechanic for over 15 years, however His attention to detail and skill really impressed me!

first of all I want to thank you for your very quick response when I called to have our garage door repaired. It was the 3rd of July and I did not think we would get service on the 4th but we did. Neil Trepanier was our technician. He was exemplary. He quickly diagnosed the problem and took care of it. He then explained improvements that could be done. We were in favor of having the work done. I just can't say enough about how satisfied with the work from Neil. We had our new door put in by Precision in 2008. We had to call a couple times with minor issues. You took care of them by phone to our satisfaction. I have recommended Precision to 2 of our neighbors because of your attentiveness and the quality work by your technicians. Thank you so much.
